Katie Price felt "physically sick" when a tracking device was discovered underneath her car.
The TV star - who was targeted by a gang 10 months ago - was horrified when the state-of-the-art device was found fitted to the base of her Pink Range Rover car during a routine vehicle service on Tuesday (22.11.11), but admits she has been living in fear something like this could happen.
In an interview with The Sun newspaper, she said: "I felt physically when I spoke to my mum and she told me how a mechanic had found a device hidden on the undercarriage of the Range Rover.
"It was found on Tuesday. The first thing I thought about was my kids and their safety. I needed to be with them.
"Because I had my kidnap threat at the start of the year, it could be related. It just meant whoever planted it knew just where I was at all times and could follow me. It's terrifying."
"We have had such an awful year. We have had to react previously to threats and I thought that was behind me.
"Something like this has been my worst fear for months. Earlier this year the police got in touch and warned me to beef up security because of fears about kidnappings."
However, Katie - who has three children, Harvey, nine, Junior, six, and Princess Tiaamii, four, from previous relationships - is trying to put the ordeal behind her and focus on finding a new man.
The TV star - who split from second husband Alex Reid in January and ended her four-month romance with Leandro Penna in October - said: "I just want someone who accepts me, my kids and my career - and someone who can and wants to buy me lunch and dinner every now and then. I haven't been out with a businessman before, that could be an option."
