Katie Holmes will not show at New York Fashion Week.

The actress and her stylist Jeanne Yang have their own clothing collection, Holmes & Yang, and while they presented at NFW last September, they will not have a show next month.

A spokesperson on behalf of the brand said they would be previewing the Holmes & Yang autumn/winter 2013-14 collection ''by appointment only''.

Speaking about their collection, Katie recently enthused: ''It is very simple, with very classic lines. We use a lot of silks and leathers and suedes. This year, we're excited because we've incorporated a lot of new trims. It's basically pieces that have evolved from basics, but not too far.''

After making her debut at NFW, former 'Dawson's Creek' star Katie said it was a huge ''honour'' to present at the prestigious event.

She said: ''It's an honour to present here. It felt like a very natural step because it's not a whole big fashion show, it's a presentation.

''It reflects the way that we design and the way we've always run our business, which is very quietly and relaxed. So we felt that this was a natural step to have more of an audience and show more buyers.''
