Welsh opera star Katherine Jenkins has dispelled rumours she has been dropped by her record label, insisting she is on the verge of signing a new deal after her current contract ended.
The singer was said to have been ditched by bosses at Warner Music Entertainment over a slump in record sales, but Jenkins is adamant the story is not true.
She has branded the rumours "nonsense" and assured fans she will be back with a new deal very soon.
In a post on her Twitter.com page, she writes, "Dear friends & fans, yes I can confirm that I'm moving record label as I have reached the end of my 3 album deal w/ (with) Warners. I'm super excited about where I'm going next but am currently sworn to secrecy... This is a happy time for me personally and as an artist so please do not be concerned by nonsense reports in the press."
