Opera singer Katherine Jenkins refuses to travel on public transport after escaping a vicious sex attacker on a London bus during her youth.
The Welsh star, 27, now insists on travelling to work by car after she was attacked by a man almost eight years ago.
She says, "I got off the bus and had a two minute walk to my house... a guy grabbed me and tried to drag me off down an alley. I fought him and luckily I was able to get away.
"It was a really bad experience and it has stayed with me. I haven't been on a bus since. I go everywhere by car. It makes me feel safer."
