Kate Winslet has developed a fear of water scenes in her movies after fainting on the set of her new movie Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

The actress developed hypothermia after spending days in a tank of freezing water on the set of 1997 blockbuster TITANIC and now she reveals she passed out while filming in an oversized kitchen sink - this time because the water was too hot.

She explains, "I seem to voluntarily put myself in this position. What's my problem?

"I walked onto the set this time and I said, 'Guys, I know water, I've done this. You can't have water this hot. Honestly, one of us is going to faint.'

"I fainted. Unbeknownst to me I was two weeks pregnant at the time, so it could have been because of that but the water was very hot."
