Troubled supermodel Kate Moss's mother and long-term agent SARAH DOUKAS are seriously concerned about the beauty's on/off romance with British rocker Pete Doherty, but are powerless to stop the relationship.

Doukas and Moss have formed a close friendship during their 18 years together at the Storm agency, and Doukas is standing by the beauty following recent tabloid revelations of alleged cocaine abuse.

In an interview with British newspaper The Times, Doukas admits she and Moss's mother LINDA are worried about self-confessed drug addict Doherty's influence on the stunner's life and have discussed the rocky relationship with her.

Doukas says, "When somebody's in love with someone like that, they're not going to listen to anything anybody else says.

"Things did accelerate with Pete, but in terms of their relationship, it was still early days."

Doukas is unsure of the couple's future, but declares Moss is away from her native Britain, where Doherty is currently touring with his band Babyshambles.

Doukas adds, "He's here and Kate's not in the country. But for the future - I can't say."
