The Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton and husband Prince William arrived in Singapore this week to begin their nine-day tour of the Far East and South Pacific in celebration of Queen Elizabeth II’s Diamond Jubilee.
Their first port of call was to visit a Rolls Royce jet engine factory, touring the complex and officially unveiling the first engine produced by the plant, which opened earlier this year. It was their second day in the city, ahead of their scheduled trips to the Solomon Islands and Tuvalu. Away from the British media, it seems Prince William has been more open to speaking about his marriage to Kate and even revealed that he wants two children with the Duchess. After overhearing a conversation between a local and the Prince, student Corine Ackermann told Sky News, “Someone asked him how many children he would like to have, and he said he was thinking about having two”. William has often spoken in the past about his desire to start a family, though has never given specific numbers or gone into any detail. Middleton meanwhile has refrained from speculating whether or not the Royal couple will start a family.
One question worth pondering would be: Is Kate Middleton pregnant already? A report by the Daily Beast on Tuesday pointed towards the 30-year-old’s refusal to drink wine during a state banquet in Singapore, making two separate toasts to the Queen with a glass of water. Hmm.
