The actress is hoping for a little British sun when she visits ex-fiance Matt Bellamy's family with the couple's son Bing, so she can debut the bikinis that make up her new Fabletics line, which launches in June (16).

"Matt, Bing's dad, is English so we like to have the kids spend some time in England because there’s a whole other family over there," Kate told "So we usually hunker down on the other side of the pond."

The movie star, who was honoured at the fourth annual Kaleidoscope Ball by Mattel Children’s Hospital UCLA on Saturday night (21May16) in Culver City, California, has found success with her leisure gear collection, and she recently opened the company's seventh retail store in the Mall of America, Minnesota.

She now has high hopes of making it 18 by the end of 2016, and admits she's surprised by how much fun she's having as the face of Fabletics.

"It’s really nice to get into retail because our customer can look and touch and experience the product overall that we’re doing."

Kate co-founded Fabletics in 2013 with JustFab Inc. co-CEOs Don Ressler and Adam Goldenberg, after the fit and fashionable trio spotted a gap in the activewear marketplace.

A post on their company website reads: "There were plenty of luxury brands, but none that offered stylish and high quality gear at an accessible price point."

Ressler and Goldenberg could not have picked a better partner because ever-active Kate is one of Hollywood's fittest and most stylish celebrities. The website features her picks of favourite workout items and a photo book of shots featuring the Almost Famous star limbering up.
