Rock icon Kate Bush infuriated her record label-of-30-years EMI by refusing let them listen to her comeback album until she'd completed it.
While writing AERIAL - the singer's first album in 12 years - Bush kept details top secret, despite a string of home visits from curious EMI Chairman TONY WADSWORTH.
Bush says, "We'd just chat and then he'd go away again.
"We ended up laughing about it, really."
Wadsworth adds, "She's someone who's got a very clear creative vision.
"I was very, very eager, like anybody else would be, to hear some new Kate Bush music. But you get a very clear sense when you're not gonna hear anything.
"Though it didn't stop me from asking."
