Kasabian star Tom Meighan landed the honour of showing off England's away soccer strip at a concert in Paris, France on Monday night (08Feb10).
The frontman bounded onto the stage at the Olympia Theatre, wearing the new top, which is a throwback to the one the nation's 1966 team wore when they won the World Cup.
The shirt will debut at the 2010 Football World Cup in South Africa.
Meighan tells the NME, "I'm the first person to wear it (shirt) which is crazy. They said they wanted to take it away from the footballers for once and do something up to date. They wanted to combine with rock 'n' roll... I'm honoured to wear it."
Umbro spokesperson Trevor Cairns explained that the label had chosen Kasabian for the honour because the band, "like England, represented the nation abroad."
