Kara DioGuardi, the American songwriter best known for her role as a judge on American Idol, revealed she was "high as a kite" after eating some 'special brownies' at Paula Abdul's house. Kara Dioguardi, who staying at the singer's home while she was away on vacation, accidently ate the brownies after finding them in a refrigerator.
During an interview on George Lopez 'Lopez Tonight' show, DioGuardi revealed that an ambulance had to be called to the house after she became "high as a kite". The songwriter recalled the episode much to the audience's delight, saying, "The maid at the time found some brownies in the freezer and put them in the refrigerator ... I hadn't really eaten much that night. Six hours later I was like, hey.what's going on? I fell out of bed, on the floor and stumbled down stairs ... and I was like.brain tumour..and then the ambulance comes, and this guy is like, 'This b*tch is high as a kite!" A laughing Lopez jumped out of his chair, as DioGuardi added, "I was hallucinating, I was on an IV. I stumbled out like a junkie ... it was bad news!" The 40-year-old, who is set to star on the new reality singing competition 'Platinum Gold', stressed that the brownies didn't actually belong to Abdul and were apparently left by someone after a party.
