LATEST: The plastic surgeon who operated on Kanye West'S mother the day before she died sensationally walked off U.S. talkshow Larry King LIVE - out of "respect" for the rapper's family. Dr. Jan Adams initially agreed to speak with the popular show host to clear up what he deemed inaccurate reports about him in the press. But upon arriving at the studio on Tuesday (20Nov07), Adams admitted West's family had asked him not to appear on the show. Appearing after the first commercial break, he told King, "I have a tremendous amount of love and respect for the West family and they have asked me not to go on. And I've said from the very beginning, I don't have a side in this. They are my side and so I'm going to respect their wishes." As Adams got up from his chair to shake King's hand, removing his earpiece, the TV host asked whether the surgeon would ever answer questions surrounding Donda West's death. Adams said, "When they're comfortable, then I'll be comfortable. If they're never comfortable, then I'll never be comfortable." The surgeon's brief television appearance came just hours after a funeral service for Donda West in her native Oklahoma City. West's mum Donda died in hospital on 10 November (07) following possible complications from a tummy tuck and breast reduction operation Dr. Jan Adams carried out the day before (09Nov07).
