Kanye West's A.P.C clothing collection has sold out instantly.

The 36-year-old rapper kept his new collaboration with designer Jean Touitou under wraps until it launched on Sunday (14.07.13), and the nine-piece capsule collection crashed the brand's website because demand was so high.

Kanye's line for the hip-hop label consists of seven logo-less pieces, including two T-shirts, two pairs of jeans and three jumpers. It is now only available via pre-order after the clothes were snapped up within a matter of hours.

Designer Jean claimed the collaboration was two years in the making, and admits the musician wasn't the easiest of people to work with because he kept redesigning the items to fit with his image.

He explained to Style.com: ''When you deal with a guy who wants to redesign just about anything so it could fit [into the] kingdom of dopeness, it takes some time to just sit and say, 'Okay, agreed, but let's get start on something limited, and we'll see'.''

Speaking in a statement prior to the collection being unveiled, Jean said: ''Over the months, we kept hanging out and finally came up with the idea of doing a small capsule collection of clothes together.

''Small' meaning that this capsule collection consists of a jean, a hoodie and a T-shirt. Those are precious to me and to Kanye too, because it took time and thoughts to get there.''
