Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting has apologised for saying she isn't a feminist.

The 'Big Bang Theory' actress recently revealed she is fond of the idea of being a housewife and taking care of her husband, Ryan Sweeting, and doesn't feel she needs to support the feminist movement because she has never felt discriminated against because of her gender.

However, the 29-year-old star has now clarified her comments, claiming her words were twisted, and said she feels ''blessed'' women have fought for equal rights in the past, enabling her to have a successful career.

Taking to Instagram, she wrote: ''In my Redbook article ,some people have taken offense to my comments regarding feminism- if any of you are In the ''biz'' you are well aware of how words can be taken out of context. I'm completely blessed and grateful that strong women have paved the way for my success along with many others. (sic)''

The blonde beauty continued to say those close to her understood the meaning of her comments, and said sorry to those who took offense to what she said.

She added: ''I apologize if anyone was offended. Anyone that truly knows me, knows my heart and knows what I meant. (sic)''
