Hot shot producer MARK RONSON is to work on the Kaiser Chiefs' upcoming album.
The band themselves confirmed that Mark, who has worked his magic on tracks by Amy Winehouse and Lily Allen, will produce their as-yet-untitled album.
In a statement they said: "There's been a load of rumours about what we're doing, the truth is we're working with Eliot James and Mark Ronson at a couple of studios in London.
"As a pair they're dynamite and we're enjoying plotting Kaiser Chiefs mark three with them pressing buttons and turning dials."
According to BBC 6 Music, two songs have already been produced NEVER MISS A BEAT and YOU WANT HISTORY.
The KAISER CHIEFS recently performed alongside Mark at the Coachella festival, with lead singer Ricky Wilson joining him on stage for a version of the hit single OH MY GOD.
Recently the band came under criticism from fans for opting to play a series of gigs in isolated parts of Scotland.
As a warm-up to their homecoming show at Elland Road stadium in Leeds the band are playing shows in Strathpether and Oban next month, but their fans have complained that they will find it difficult to travel to the gigs, reports Gigwise.com
