British rockers Kaiser Chiefs made their peace with Franz Ferdinand when the bands appeared together at a TEENAGE CANCER TRUST concert at London's Royal Albert Hall last night (05MAR05).

Kaiser Chiefs singer Richard Wilson recently accused the Scottish hitmakers of abandoning their rock roots in favour of financially rewarding pop music - but any bitterness evaporated as he prepared to take the stage.

Wilson says, "Someone asked us, 'Do you want to do a gig?' And we were like, 'Oh no, not another gig, that day's supposed to be our day off.'

"But then they said, 'It's at the Royal Albert Hall' and our ears pricked up.'

"Then they said, 'It's with Franz Ferdinand' and we were like, 'Hello, this sounds good!'"
