Rapper Juvenile has taken over the top of the US album charts after his latest album, REALITY CHECK, debuted with 174,000 first-week sales. The album was completed just before Hurricane Katrina devastated the rapper's native New Orleans, Louisiana - prompting him to write a further track, GET YA HUSTLE ON, which blasted the post-storm relief effort. Juvenile replaces hip-hop sensation Ne-Yo, who debuted his first album, IN MY OWN WORDS, at number one last week (08MAR06). Also debuting in the new top 10 is Hasidic reggae sensation Matisyahu's CD YOUTH (number four) and Pink Floyd frontman David Gilmour's solo effort ON AN ISLAND (number six).
