Justin Timberlake has secured a third week at the top of the U.S. charts, preventing hot country act The Band Perry and much-hyped rapper Tyler, The Creator from reaching number one.

Timberlake crashed into the charts at number one last month (Mar13) with his The 20/20 Experience, notching up almost one million sales - and he's still going strong.

Last week, the release shifted 139,000 copies - 10,000 more than The Band Perry's Pioneer, which debuts at two, and 60,000 more than Wolf by Tyler, The Creator.

The 20/20 Experience has now sold over 1.4 million copies in the U.S. alone.

Rounding out the new Billboard 200 top five is Blake Shelton's Based on a True Story and Lil Wayne's I Am Not a Human Being Ii, meanwhile Bruno Mars lands his fifth number one on the Hot 100 singles chart with When I Was Your Man.

He unseats MACklemore & Ryan Lewis' six-week number one Thrift Shop, which falls to two, while Pink's Just Give Me a Reason jumps up two spots to three.
