Justin Bieber has confirmed he has collaborated with Taylor Swift for a new song.

The 'Never Say Never' hitmaker - who recently pranked the country singer on MTV's 'Punk'd' show - has recorded an as-yet untitled track with the blonde beauty for his forthcoming album 'Believe'.

Speaking on the 'Vodafone Big Top 40' radio show, broadcasted by Capital FM, he said: ''It's crazy. I mean I even wrote a song with Taylor Swift, so the whole album ranges differently.''

The 18-year-old teen heartthrob revealed he is ''so happy'' with his next record, which is set to feature a diverse range of musical styles.

He added: ''It doesn't stay in a box. Everything is so different and that's why I'm so happy with this album.''

It will not be the first time Justin and Taylor have sang together as last August the 'Boyfriend' hitmaker made a surprise appearance on stage at the 23-year-old singer's gig at the Los Angeles Staples Center to perform a duet of his song 'Baby'.
