Spanish singer Julio Iglesias has been handed a special career award ahead of two concerts at London's Royal Albert Hall.
The Begin the Beguine crooner was honoured by record label bosses during a press conference at the Dorchester Hotel on Monday (11May14).
Iglesias told reporters, "I'm so glad to be receiving this award, and especially in London, a place that has so many memories for me, where I'm surrounded by so many friends.
"I would like to take this opportunity and say a big thank you to all the people who have bought my albums over the years, as well as to all those who have come to see me in concert. They made this award possible.
Iglesias has sold millions of records throughout his career, which began in the early 1970s.
