Heavy Metal Stars Judas Priest Are Launching Their Own British Steel Coffee Blend To Mark The 35th Anniversary Of Their Classic Album Of The Same Name.
The veteran rockers have teamed up with tastemakers at Dark Matter Coffee in Chicago, Illinois to give fans an extra boost of energy.
The 12 ounce (340 gram) bags will come with a cassette tape featuring the group's tracks Grinder and Snakebite when they go on sale online on 14 April (15).
Describing the limited edition blend online, Dark Matter Coffee bosses write, "Instantly recognizable for their peerless attack, the fuel for this inexorable juggernaut must be both ebullient and unremitting. The brewed crude sparkles cup after cup, sin after sin. Death to False Coffee."
Dark Matter Coffee executives have previously worked with The Slits punk star Viv Albertine, while fellow celebrity coffee brewers include Aerosmith's Joey Kramer, rocker Rob Zombie, the family of reggae icon Bob Marley, filmmaker David Lynch and actor Hugh Jackman.
