British soul star Joss Stone has landed a dream gig - with SIR Mick Jagger and acting heart-throb Jude Law as backing singers.

The FELL IN LOVE WITH A BOY hitmaker will perform on the soundtrack for Law's new movie remake ALFIE - singing self-titled hit originally recorded by Cilla Black to accompany the 1966 SIR Michael Caine original film.

The 17-year-old singing sensation says, "When I go to England, I'm going to put a day aside and go and do it.

"Mick Jagger is singing backup and Dave Stewart is producing. It's going to be cool."

ROLLING STONE Jagger has also provided three songs for the soundtrack, new recordings of OLD HABITS DIE HARD, BLIND LEADING THE BLIND and LET'S MAKE IT UP. The movie is due for release in Britain in October (04).
