A foiled plot to attack and rob Joss Stone has turned the British soul star into a paranoid detective, second guessing all the new people she comes into contact with.
The two men accused of targeting the singer at her English country home have been charged with conspiracy to rob and assault the You Had Me hitmaker and were remanded in custody after appearing in court in Exeter.
But the fact that her alleged would-be attackers are behind bars isn't helping Stone move on from the scary drama.
Despite laughing off the incident in recent TV interviews, Stone admits she now has trust issues with everyone she meets and fears anyone she has fallen out with could be out to do her harm.
The singer tells Access Hollywood, "I feel like... I’ve turned into Sherlock Holmes, like, 'Oh, OK, well maybe this person? But no, can’t be. Well, what about this time I went to this place and I told that guy to shove it? No, it’s not him. No, I don’t know.’
"People are crazy and maybe they need a hug? Or a spliff...? They need something."
And Stone is still shocked by the "rude and uncouth" plot to rob her, adding, "Come on, can’t you do something better with your Tuesday? It’s very, very weird."
The singer reveals her mother is still livid about the drama: "My mum’s pretty p**sed off, let me tell you."
