A man has denied conspiring to murder Joss Stone.
Kevin Liverpool, 34, appeared in Exeter Crown Court yesterday (24.10.11) and also denied conspiracy to grievous bodily harm (GBH) and conspiracy to commit robbery against the 24-year-old singer.
Co-defendant Junior Bradshaw, 31, also appeared in the dock charged with conspiring to rob and harm the 'Fell in Love with a Boy' hitmaker but was asked not to enter any pleas pending the results of psychiatric tests.
Both men - who were arrested in June near Joss' home in Devon, South West England over an alleged plot to kidnap the star - were remanded in custody and the case has been adjourned until December.
A trial has been scheduled to begin on August 6 2012.
At a previous hearing, the court heard items including a samurai sword and notes mentioning the singer's name were found in the car belonging to the defendants, who both reside in Manchester, North West England.
Joss has admitted the incident has made her much more security conscious.
She has said: "In that sense it's been a blessing in disguise. I now lock all my doors and have a sophisticated alarm system. But it's highlighted to me how brilliant the community down here is. Everyone around is like extended family, all of us looking out for each other. I could never live anywhere else."
