Jorgie Porter missed out on winning the 'Dancing On Ice' final at the weekend, being pipped to the post be fellow soap star Matthew Wolfenden, but the star was already thinking of bigger and better things, confessing to the UK's Daily Mail that she had eyes for the big screen in the future.
The blonde bombshell in 'Hollyoaks,' the actress admitted "[It] won't last for ever and you never know about the future" and went on to add "I would like to give Hollywood a go at some point. After all I would like to live in a hot country." Porter should take note that it takes a lot of work to progress beyond soapland, with varying degrees of success greeting those who try their hand at the next level. One particularly spectacular failure was former 'Emmerdale' actress Adele Silva who was spotted working as a shop assistant in a clothes store last year.
Meanwhile, her 'Dancing On Ice' rival Wolfenden was struggling to put into words his elation at taking the top prize on Sunday night. "That's going to take a few days to sink in," he said, reports the Bbc. "I can't believe it, I'm shaking," he continued "The first time I stood on the ice I thought I made the worse mistake of my career. How times can change." Wolfenden won after performing a replica of judges Torvill and Dean's Bolero routine that won them gold the 1984 Winter Olympics.
