Rocker Jon Bon Jovi still misses the motorbike gift he handed over to the Rock + Roll Hall of Fame because it took him across America on his "Jack Kerouac experiences". The bike was a gift from his manager DOC MCGHEE and helped the IT'S MY LIFE singer escape the limelight when fame became too much. Bon Jovi recalls, "I'd started feeling like part of a machine I didn't want to be part of. I needed to have some Jack Kerouac experiences. "I'd drive cross-country for a month at a time with two pairs of jeans, a few T-shirts and a couple of credit cards."
