Flamboyant former Olympian Johnny Weir has been ordered to pay his estranged husband $1,000 (£625)-a-month in support as they work through their divorce.
The retired ice skater filed court papers to end his short-lived marriage to entertainment lawyer Victor Voronov last week (ends 21Mar14) and the split turned nasty as his ex lodged his own petition, accusing Weir of multiple acts of adultery during their two-year union.
Voronov also demanded the return of a slew of designer items he claims Weir took from their home, in addition to temporary support and legal fees and the return of their Japanese Chin dog, Tema.
The case was heard in court on Wednesday (26Mar14), when a U.S. judge granted Voronov temporary support.
During the hearing, it was also revealed that the warring pair had agreed to set aside funds from the sale of a valuable Faberge egg and their wedding rings to cover legal fees, while they reached a custody agreement over Tema. The pet will spend one week a month with Voronov, according to Tmz.com.
