Jackass star Johnny Knoxville refuses to show his eight-year-old daughter the prank show that turned him into a star - because she's too young to see the violence he created.

The stuntman-turned-movie star admits he's very careful about what his daughter watches even though he's responsible for some of the most controversial TV in recent years.

He says, "We always watch whatever's on TV with her... just to make sure they're suitable for her.

"She hasn't seen JACKASS: THE MOVIE. She's seen certain parts where nothing is naughty or somebody gets hurt. But when she's old enough, she can watch it if she wants. I'm not really going to encourage it."
