John Travolta was so impressed by British band Girls Aloud's performance at the London premiere of his new movie Be Cool on Monday night (07MAR05), he wants to find them a big screen role.

The SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER star, who first found fame for his singing and dancing skills, plans to hold talks with the I'LL STAND BY YOU singers' agent.

The 51-year-old says, "They would be just perfect for a film, they look like really fun girls, they can sing and they are very, very pretty. I will definitely be getting hold of their agent."

Girls Aloud - Nicola Roberts, Sarah Harding, Cheryl Tweedy, KIMBERLEY WALSH and NADINE COYLE - shot to stardom in their native Britain after winning reality TV show POPSTARS: THE RIVALS in 2002.
