Point Break actor John Philbin is behind bars after brandishing a gun during a domestic dispute with his girlfriend on Saturday (28Feb15).

Police officers arrived at Philbin's Los Angeles home after they received a call reporting a loud argument between him and his unnamed girlfriend, according to Tmz.com.

Sources tell the site that Philbin was waving a gun around. A neighbour was reportedly the one to convince Philbin to put down the weapon, and the actor took a walk following the confrontation.

When he returned to his home, officers arrested Philbin and charged him with brandishing a firearm, a misdemeanour.

Philbin is still behind bars.
