A school exercise book in which John Lennon jotted down ideas that ended up in THE BEATLES' song I AM THE WALRUS is to be auctioned in London next month (APR06). The 10 page book was titled MY ANTHOLOGY by the-then-12-year-old Lennon, and is full of drawings and poems. It contains a sketch of the Walrus from LEWIS CARROLL's THE WALRUS AND THE CARPENTER. Auctioneers hope the memorabilia will fetch around GBP100,000 ($170,000) when it goes on sale at the British capital's Madame Tussauds museum. LOUISE COOPER, of auctioneer Cooper Owen says, "It shows how artistic he was."
