John Lennon's widow Yoko Ono has passed her approval for a Broadway musical about the life of the late Beatles legend.

Although no major facts are yet known about the proposed New York play, it is confirmed the couple's infamous love-in at a Montreal, Canada hotel following their 1969 wedding will play a central part in the performance.

A theatre insider reveals, "There's going to be a huge bed on set just like the one they used to sleep in. No one knows yet who will play John and Yoko."
