John Lennon's eldest son JULIAN has sold his financial stake in the late BEATLE's songs. The 44-year-old handed over the rights to Primary Wave Music Publishing for a 'significant' sum, rumoured to be higher than the $50million (GBP26 million) the same company paid for a 50 per cent stake in Kurt Cobain's music publishing catalogue last year. The deal relates to the songwriting income generated by the Beatles compositions as opposed to the publishing rights.
