Funnyman John Cleese was so nervous guest-starring in WILL + Grace he managed to cut his head open whilst filming the hit TV show.
The British comedian plays Megan Mullally's boyfriend in six episodes of the show, but was astounded at just how hard the cast members are expected to work.
He says, "The thing about Will + Grace is there's no rehearsal, because everyone running the show (is a) writer and they're only interested in writing a good line. So if you say a line badly, instead of letting you rehearse they give you a new line instead.
"It's terrifying because these guys have done 140 shows so they have no adrenaline running. You come in as a guest star a little bit nervous.
"The first day that I recorded with them, I was walking through a door and Megan was looking through the skylight of the door. She adjusts her position as I'm walking through - trying to make it easier for me - she bangs my head, my head hits the side of the door, I gash my head and I have blood pouring out.
"You feel a bit stupid - you haven't got a laugh yet!"
