Jodie Sweetin, the American actress and star of 'Full House', is engaged to her boyfriend MORTY COYLE after the DJ popped the question at her 29th birthday party this week, reports People Magazine. Sweetin was celebrating at the Kibitz Room in Los Angeles when Coyle got down on one knee in front of the couple's guests.
The 29-year-old said the proposal was a complete surprise, adding, "We are just thrilled, and I am in shock still! I was glad that everybody was there". As well as the couple's close friends and family, their 5-month-old daughter Beatrix was also in attendance. The actress described her engagement ring, a 2 and a half carat oval sapphire surrounded by 18 diamonds, as "so beautiful" and said that she was unaware that her friend had also decorated the venue with diamond table embellishments. Despite the engagement, the couple say they are in no hurry to get married but are "absolutely committed" to each other. Sweetin was previously married to a film transportation coordinator named CODY HERPIN but the pair divorced in April 2010 after three years together.
The actress, who recently starred in the independent film 'Port City', released her memoirs titled 'unSweetined' in 2009 which chronicled her drug and alcohol addiction.
