The Star Wars: The Force Awakens director became a fan of the show after catching it in London, and now he is teaming up with Broadway veteran Kevin MCCollum and the play's original producer Kenny Wax to take the production to the Great White Way.

The Play That Goes Wrong, which premiered in the West End in 2014, follows the members of an amateur troupe and their botched attempt to pull off a 1920s murder mystery.

The original cast of the London production, including co-writers Henry Lewis and Jonathan Sayer, will reprise its roles for the Broadway launch at the Lyceum Theater for previews on 9 March (17), ahead of a grand opening on 2 April (17), reports Variety.
