U.S. talk show host Jimmy Kimmel is set to become a dad again - his new bride Molly MCNearney is pregnant.
The funnyman tied the knot with MCNearney, a writer for his late night show, last summer (Jul13) and now the couple is expecting their first child together.
Kimmel made the announcement during an interview with daytime Tv host Ellen DeGeneres, which is set to air in the U.S. on Wednesday (26Feb14).
He shared, "I’m having a baby," and joked that lesbian DeGeneres was the mother.
Kimmel added, "No, I decided to have the first one with my wife."
The comedian admits he's nervous about fatherhood two decades after he last became a dad: "I have a 20 year old son and a 22 year old daughter and I've really forgotten everything. It's funny because I was just with some friends who just had a baby (and) I was like, 'There’s new ways to do things'. You hold them by the front of the neck now it seems.
"I told my daughter, 'Listen, there's only so much love I have to give - you’re gonna have to split it up with the new kid. There's a finite amount of love and that’s that.' So they're dealing with it, but it is very weird at my age. I'm going to be one of those old dads."
