A treasure trove of Jimi Hendrix memorabilia is set to go up for auction in London next year (05).

The items, including guitars, rare live recordings and unpublished Woodstock photographs, are part of the largest private collection of Hendrix memorabilia.

The collection was begun by fan BOB TERRY in 1967, when he was 17 years old.

TED OWEN, co-founder of London auction house COOPEROWEN, says, "This guy started following Jimi, going to concerts, basically stalking him.

"He collected everything he could get his hands on. I've been doing this for 20 years and never seen anything like it."
