A handwritten pitch and original drawings Jim Henson used to land a pilot of The Muppet Show will go under the hammer at a sale on Tuesday (31Jul12).
The items include a collection of illustrations and Polaroids of Miss Piggy, as well as story ideas for a show based on the wacky puppets which went on to become phenomenons when the TV show launched in 1976.
The lots will be up for sale at the Nate D. Sanders auction house alongside other Hollywood memorabilia.
Sanders says, "The photos and sketches showed Henson's vision as he created one of the most popular shows of all time."
