I Love You Phillip Morris , in which Jim Carrey and Ewan McGregor play a gay couple, has premiered at the Sundance Film Festival to glowing reviews -- particularly for the two stars. The Hollywood Reporter wrote that Carrey's "comedic versatility and impersonations are amazing, but it's in his character's darkest recesses that he's truly powerful. As the steadfast Phillip, McGregor is sympathetic and vulnerable. His heart is always ready to be broken." But Daily Variety warned that the "sexual bluntness of Carrey and Ewan McGregor's onscreen romance could limit the film's exposure, but curiosity about Carrey's 'conversion' will be a big draw. And no one can say that all involved weren't swinging for the fences." At a news conference at the festival Carrey didn't hesitate to stoke the curiosity. When asked what it was like to kiss a man, he turned towards McGregor and quipped "A dream come true. I mean, look at the guy."
