British actor Jim Broadbent is adamant he will play a part in a third BRIDGET JONES movie if another sequel is announced - or wreak revenge on directors. The IRIS star, 57, has played the father to Renee Zellweger's unlucky-in-love character in the first two films: 2001's Bridget Jones's Diary and 2004's BRIDGET JONES: THE EDGE OF REASON. And Broadbent is keen not to be overlooked if a third installment follows. He says, "I haven't heard anything about a third film yet. Although if they get anyone else to play Bridget's dad, I'll be furious!"
