Singer/songwriter Jewel has returned home to Alaska to film her first appearance in her family's hit reality TV show.
The Standing Still singer took her son Kase Murray back to Homer, Alaska to show him where she grew up on a homestead, and the trip was caught on camera for Discovery Channel's Alaska: The Last Frontier.
In a new trailer for the show, the star says, "I grew up working cattle with my dad. I’m just real glad to be back."
Jewel recently told U.S news show Entertainment Tonight she's very proud of her roots, stating, "Alaska’s so beautiful and I love how I was raised."
Alaska: The Last Frontier premieres on 2 October (16) on Discovery Channel.
