British singer Jessie Ware has curbed the wild ways of her youth because she is too afraid of losing her voice to go out partying.
The Wildest Moments hitmaker used to enjoy hitting the town with her girlfriends but she no longer goes clubbing as she is paranoid about damaging her singing voice.
Ware tells Britain's Metro newspaper, "I used to be (a party girl), not anymore. I was out every night of the week when I was single. It was ridiculous. It lasted two years with my two best mates. Now it's nothing. You'll be lucky to get me out for afternoon tea now. We used to go out in south London, east London... house parties... Now I'm too worried I'll lose my voice if I sing along to a Chaka Khan song at a party. I can't do any of that now."
The 27 year old admits hangovers don't suit the pop star lifestyle, adding, "I go to the gym when I'm on tour and try to walk as much as possible. I don't want to look rough, ever. Now I can see sometimes that people recognise me, I don't want them reporting back to their mate, 'Oh God, she looked rough.' So I make an effort."
