Jessica Simpson admits she'll be having a ''big'' wedding when she ties the knot with Eric Johnson because she wants all of her friends and family present.
Jessica Simpson is having a ''big'' wedding.
The 33-year-old star has been planning her special day since her fiancé Eric Johnson popped the question back in November 2010, and she wants lots of people present at the lavish ceremony to witness them tying the knot.
Speaking to USA Today, she explained: ''I've been very picky on how I want everything to look and feel.
''Eric's family alone is almost 90 people, so it'll definitely be a big event.''
The blonde beauty, who has daughter Maxwell, two, and ten-month-old son Ace with Eric, has remained tight-lipped on when their nuptials will take place, but it appears her big day is soon approaching as she's getting ready to send out the wedding invites to her friends and family.
She said: ''We are very close to sending out our invites.''
Meanwhile, the singer hasn't released new material since her 'Happy Christmas' album in 2010, so she wants to start focusing on her career again after the wedding.
She explained: ''We're building a studio in our house. I bought a house from Ozzy Osbourne, so a lot of the studio was already set up. I want to see what comes out. It's time for me to find that out, and I can't wait for my kids to experience that with me. Even Eric. He's never seen me perform onstage.''
Jessica was previously married to Nick Lachey, 40, from 2002 until they divorced in 2006.
