Jessica Pare has ensured that fans eagerly awaiting the return of the hugely hyped series 'Mad Men' have something new to talk about other than the usual debate over character development and new plot lines. The sultry actress debuts as Megan, the new wife of 'Mad Men' favourite Don Draper, played by Jon Hamm. She was introduced in quite a style in the fifth season premiere as well, giving a sexy performance of the 1960s French pop song 'Zou Bisou Bisou' (Oh you, Kiss, Kiss), impressing critics no end, reports the UK's Daily Telegraph.
Pare had previously spoken of her nervousness at shooting the scene, saying "It was a lot of fun to do. Certainly a lot of the awkwardness and embarrassment (of the character) was definitely felt. It takes a lot of courage to do something like that. I am not sure I would gear up for it myself." She had little to worry about though as she's emerged as one of the highlights of the first episode.
Indeed, the critics have been full of praise in general for the return of 'Mad Men,' with Usa Today particularly gushing in saying "This is such a gorgeous show to watch (at least for anyone fond of mid-'60s clothes and design) that it's easy to forget how beautifully these actors play their roles and how true-to-life they and the writers make these characters seem."
