Fans can soon feast their eyes upon the sequel to 2012's Snow White and the Huntsman, with Charlize Theron returning as evil queen Ravenna and Chris Hemsworth reprising his role of the title hero Eric. Jessica joins the franchise as Chris' onscreen spouse Sara and filmmaker Cedric has praised the flame-haired beauty's performance.

"Ah, Sarah. She's a badass. She's really badass," he grinned to SciFiNow magazine. "I think it was fun for Jessica to play because she doesn't usually that that type of character. It was really fun for me to work with her because I love those characters. She's equal; she's a huntsman too. She's not just one of the huntsmen; she's the leader of the huntsmen when Eric goes away. They're husband and wife, so they are on equal footing."

The feature marks Cedric's first ever feature film, as he previously acted as visual effects supervisor on the original movie. While he helmed the flick with ease, he never anticipated landing such a big job.

"I was working on another project, and then all of a sudden this came round, and they were like, 'Oh, we want you to work on this movie,'" he recalled. "I just didn't have a lot of time to think about it. It was like I was jumping on a train that was already leaving the station. I didn't really think to myself, 'Should I do it? Should I not?' It was more, 'Alright, let's go!'"

The first film was somewhat marred with controversy after its star Kristen Stewart had an affair with then-married director Rupert Sanders. Her relationship with Robert Pattinson and Rupert's marriage to Liberty Ross both broke down following the publication of pictures of Kristen and Rupert in a passionate embrace.
