Actress Jessica Chastain was caught out behind the scenes of animated movie Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted - because she had no idea she would be filmed while recording her voiceovers.
The shy The Help star was delighted by the prospect of not having to dress up or put on make-up for the recording sessions - as she gave her character Gia the jaguar a voice - and so she chose comfort over style on her first day.
She soon realised she would still be under the glare of the cameras, so the Oscar nominee spent the rest of the production all dressed up and stylish.
During an appearance on U.S. morning show Live! With Kelly on Thursday (07Jun12), she said, "The first day I thought, 'No cameras, that's fine, I'll wear sweats (sweatpants), no make-up', and I showed up and I was doing the voice, and I looked up and saw all the cameras and I realised, 'Oh my gosh, they're videotaping this...'
"And then of course the next day I turned up, I was in, like, full hair and make-up."
