Jessica Biel says she regrets her failed audition for 'The Notebook', a movie that became a box-office sensation and made a star out of lead actress Rachael Mcadams. Biel covers the December issue of Elle Magazine, and speaks about her career ups-and-downs in the accompanying interview.
The actress' career has steadily ascended after high profile appearances alongside Ed Norton in The Illusionist and Liam Neeson in The A-Team. However, Biel has revealed a number of career regrets, including not landing the role of Catwoman in Christopher Nolan's forthcoming 'The Dark Knight Rises'. However, it's still her failed audition for The Notebook that plays on her mind, saying, "I was in the middle of shooting Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and I auditioned with Ryan Gosling in my trailer - covered in blood. But there's a million that get away". MCAdams eventually landed the role opposite Gosling, rocketing her to international prominence.
Later in the interview, Jessica was quizzed on her relationship with Justin Timberlake, but stayed coy on rumours of a break up, saying, "A girl doesn't kiss and tell". However, she did admit her penchant for dating actors, saying, "I think [actors] are the people you meet and so it just kind of happens.Let me tell you: It never happens on purpose".
