The 32-year-old actor - who is currently starring in the TV remake of 1980s show 'Dallas' - would love to reprise his role as hunky gardener John Rowland before the programme ends production after its eighth season.
He said: "I would definitely be open to it. It seems appropriate seeing as I was part of the birth and initial success of the show, to bring me back for the final season.
"But we'll see if there's interest there. I do think it's the right time. It was a very successful show and it'll be forever ingrained in the public consciousness."
Jesse is not the only actor hoping to make a return to the show before it ends.
