Jerry Hall's autobiography has been scrapped by publishers because it doesn't contain enough gossip about her relationship with Mick Jagger.
The former supermodel was married to the Rolling Stones frontman from 1990 to 1999.
Publishing giant Harper Collins was hoping for a warts-and-all book and offered Hall a $1.5 million (£1 million) deal.
But according to Britain's Sunday Express, Hall disappointed publishing bosses, who have now scrapped the deal and are demanding she return her $750,000 (£500,000) advance.
A pal told the paper Hall has too much respect for Jagger and their children to tell all.
The friend says, "She wouldn't give them what they wanted which was some sort of expose on a rock monster. They were hugely disappointed with what they read."
Hall declined to talk about the deal.
